Rick is an especially responsive and thoughtful contractor. His team is first rate; friendly, industrious, and exceptionally competent. In the execution of my bathroom, he and his staff came up with a creative solution to the shower drain that made a more dramatic and seamless space. He was very accommodating to changes and additions to the construction process. When my personal subcontractor for my floor refinishing suddenly balked at the job, He had his subcontractor come in. That individual did, I believe, an even better job than the person I initially selected. The final product is terrific and has exceeded all my expectations. My entire experience with Rick was professional and pleasant. I most heartily recommend Rick for any home remodeling project you might have. I am looking forward to having him work on my next phase in the coming months!

    Frequently asked questions

We set up an inital meet for us to listen to your ideas about your project.

We will help focus on areas which may need more detail.  We ascess wheather the project will require architectural or design drawings and how that may relate the permit process.

We will ask questions and hopefully be able to provide feeback about a prospective budget.  We strive to have accurate infomation and set clear expectations regarding budget.

During the design and proposal portion of the process through completion we use BuilderTREND, a cloud-based project management tool to clearly communicate progress, track changes, invoice, and share photos and information.

I do not have a standard pricing system.   I complete a through proposal that details the scope of work, over all cost, and payment schedule that relates  appropriate payments to completed project benchmarks.

I started with owning rental property.  Later I apprenticed and worked with a creative general contractor that specialized in historic renovation and custom cabinetry projects.  I loved the hands on project based work where you can see you tangible results and improvements from your contribution and focus.

All types!  Projects large and small - modern or historic - residential and light commercial.

Listen to what words are used and trust you gut level impression of the person you are looking to hire.

If you don't think you can see yourself working closely with this person in your home and resolve complicated sets of issues you should keep looking until you find a good fit.

Do you feel like you have accurate expectations of the level of difficulty,  length of time to complete, and the relative cost of your project;  ask questions that clear up these types of unknowns.
