We at Custom Stone Interiors, Inc. are a small business with big and fascinating ideas. It is our goal to achieve quality workmanship and products at a competitive price. Remodeling and installing various types of granite, quartz, Limestone, Onyx and marble are our passion. Not only do we transform kitchens and bathrooms, we also resurrect fireplaces, flooring and outdoor living spaces.
Since the beginning we have met a lot of valued customers. Our work has been diversified. Our team can provide services not only to residential, but to area commercial businesses as well. We were previously located in the downtown area, but relocated to 1950 Walton Road in Overland to expand and enhance our facility to better serve our customers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with your idea. Whether you're style is modern, contemporary, elegant or standard we can help make this a fun creative part of the process.
The idea for the project needs to be measured either by Custom Stone Interior, Inc. or by you the client. We can visit the location for the project and make the template if so desired. This step is vital to begin the process and to have a quote prepared.
After this step or during this process your material can be selected. We will guide you through our showroom of beautiful stone where the possibilities are endless. Then and only then can we order the material.
Next, if applicable any accessories should be ordered such as sinks, faucets, backsplash or any other ideas you may have in mind. Again, this part is entirely up to you and the plans you have for your finished design.
Fabrication begins...Your selected stone is now efficiently cut and sanded to create the design and style you've dreamed of for your project's transformation.
Once the fabrication is complete, and all accessories have been received we will deliver your precious material and install your beautifully selected stone and accessories to perfection.

Pricing at Custom Stone Interiors, Inc. varies from one client service to another since each job is an original.
Our prices are competitive, and we generally can give you a quote within a 24 hour period.
It is important that when asking for a quote that you include every aspect of the job so that we can be as accurate as possible when delivering our quote to you.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with designers such as "Above and Beyond Designs" and "Checkmate Designs". Our contractors are from all around the St. Louis area. We have worked with "Aleto Construction", "The Wellington Group", and "Lewis Homes" to name only a few.
The type of customers we cator to range from your typical home owner replacing a simple bathroom countertop to commercial builders in need of Kitchen and bathroom countertops for apartment complex buildings. We have also completed projects for small aircrafts.
We will transorm old worn fireplaces into beautiful works of stone art to last for years to come.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This was a job done with our client and Custom Stone Interiors, Inc. best engineer, Mike Hopwood.
In a spacious and luxurious home in Chesterfield, we replaced the kitchen countertops and Island in a beautiful Tahiti Quartzite. We then used a dry treat stain-proof sealer on it to last a lifetime.
In addition, there was an upper bar that had its countertop done in a welcoming Walnut End Grain. Together these two products made the home such a warming and winning combination.
We felt this was something we could look at and smile upon. It feels good when everything comes together so smoothly.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You may find a competitor with a cheaper price, but you may also be getting just that, cheaper product and cheaper quality workmanship.
Be sure to ask to look at samples of previously completed jobs. You might also want to find out the time frame between making the template and fabricating the material. You don't want to rush this process, it's important that this be done right the first time. The smallest of errors can cause the order to be redone and create wasted time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Will I need any plumbing done to complete my project? Do the cabinets need to be replaced or painted before installing countertops. If ordering a stove or dishwasher have I ordered them yet? Did I remember to include those measurements with the installation? If you want backsplash, do you want 4", 6", 8" or all the way up the wall?
It might be a helpful to bring in a swatch of color from the room you are decorating to help choose the stone for your kitchen, diningroom, bath or outdoor area.
