What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation with the clients to establish the design, location, and budget parameter. Assist in CAD design/drawings if plans are not purchased. Walk them through the costruction processes and if necessary assist in connecting clients with banking institutions that can provide construction/mortgage financing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the construction industry beginning in the late 1980's. I've worked with some of the best craftsmen in the Ozarks and surrounding area. Built some very large and small private residences of which quality was paramount.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our service is monthly management fees based off the estimated cost to build. No crazy costs per foot.
How did you get started in this business?
I originally wanted to be an architect but decided early on that I wanted to build and not just design.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All walks of life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
All, but one client, in my career has enjoyed the process and personal involvement that I have with all my builds. As well as coming in at or very close to budge .
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the builder is willing to give client lists for references as well as visiting their homes.
All of my clients that still have their homes are willing for potential clients to view their homes and visit with them on their experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. Build what you can afford. Or...
2. Build what you want for whatever the cost. Or..
