Norsemen Construction & Remodeling is a locally and family owned business with a history of master carpenters spanning four generations. We offer all services in construction and remodeling from a small home service request to fix a single item to designing and renovating your entire home. We are best known for our porches, kitchens, decks, basements, and have a special niche in structural framing issues (load bearing walls, beams, sinking decks and porches, sagging floors and ceilings, rot issues). We also love serving the community by taking on something as small as hanging a picture on a high wall for you as no job is too small or unimportant.

Working with Michael (the owner of Norsemen Construction) was a pleasure. He is incredibly talented and conducts himself professionally and ethically. He worked on my Loft to Bedroom conversion project that required building up from an existing half-wall, building a closet, and coordinating all of the necessary tasks to have a job well done. I highly recommend him.

I hired Norsemen in the past for a large remodeling project this year and Michael told me if we ever needed anything, small or big, to call back. We had some issues with cabinets purchased from Home Depot last spring and Michael came out and not only fixed how all the doors were working, but repaired and blended in all the small flaws from their installation. The kitchen looks newer than when we had it redone.

Mike communicated great and got exactly what I needed done after a burglary damaging my door frame pretty bad, he was able to assess the problem and fix it efficiently. He cares and it shows, Highly recommend!

We contacted Michael and his team regarding concerns about our 6x6 support posts for our main level living room addition which was appearing to be moving off the concrete supports underneath.
After inspection he found the footings were so far off location replacement was an urgent safety issue and could not be left as is.
Norseman construction built a temporary support structure, removed the existing posts, excavated the footings,
back filled and poured new footings below the frost line, and replaced the 6x6 posts and reburied by
back fill.
Michael and his team did an impressive job on our safety related structural/framing work problem!
