Set an appointment at our office/showroom and listen... Develope a plan and budget with each customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A staff with 70 plus years of working construction and building/remodeling all types of projects for customers. Two years college and two years of Architectural drafting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started in this business?
We are fourth generation builder and I have always loved working with customers and building with my hands.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types as each and every customer is important to us.. Every home, no matter its size or complexity is the most important to each or our customers and we give everyone the most time and care we can.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We recently completed a new home for a young couple with two young children. We listened to their dreams and wants in bringing their children up in a new home that would fit their needs through their college years. We designed that home with them and talked through energy options, healthy envirinment options and radon. They are extremely happy in their new home and have recommended us to all their frinds and family.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research!!!!! Make sure you know who your Builder is and what they can bring to table for you. This is your home and you want the Builder and his trade partners to treat every aspect of building your home with pride and dignity. Make sure they are members of a Home Builders Association and licensed in the state you are building in. Receiving a bunch of bids without qualifications is a disaster in the making. The lowest price does not make a bunch of sticks into a home. Ask all the questions you can.......
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First - what are their needs and they need to establish a budget. The budget should allow for some contingencies as the average home has 3500 different components and they may want to change some things during construction.
2nd - Make no changes without a pre-priced change order. Keeps everyone on budget and time.
3rd - Make sure the Builder has a complete contract which includes contingencies recommended by the state Builders Association and has a start and finish date, with all of Customers selections listed including colors.
