What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk to the customer and get scope of work that they are interested in. Is this a retail job? If so, lets check it out and we can provide a quote. Is this an insurance claim? Let's call it in and schedule an adjusters meeting. I'm happy to meet with your adjuster and assess damages. Once that gets approved we decide on a scope of work and choose colors. We do insurance work for the insurance proceeds plus your deductible! All you owe out of pocket is your deductible.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Use someone local. When a storm comes through there can be "storm chasers" that come through from all over the country. It will be hard to get repairs or ask questions about any issues if they aren't still around when you need them.
