It's really nice meeting new people and making new friends, which happens regularly for us! I love blending new and renovated spaces into existing homes, adding creative touches here and there, and helping my customers enjoy their home, family and lives more.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First contact: our customers either email us directly, fill out our website contact form, or give us a call. We'll ask a series of questions to get to know you, understand your hopes for your project, and find out what your budget is. If you don't have a budget, we can provide a free rough initial estimate during our conversation with you. If we feel like we're a good fit for eachother, we'll schedule an in-person meeting at your home.
In-person meeting: we'll meet you at your home to discuss what you'd like to accomplish, review the home, and talk about how we handle our projects, as well as answer any initial questions you may have. If design services are needed, we'll discuss the design agreement and proposal process.
Once design is complete, we'll provide a fixed-cost lump-sum proposal for the project. If that's approved we get started with construction as soon as possible.
Construction times and schedules can vary greatly, but on average, a complete bathroom remodel may take 3-6 weeks, a kitchen remodel may take 4-10 weeks, basement finishes take 6-12 weeks, and additions typically take over 1-3 months.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Wade is currently pursuing multiple accredidations through the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association. He's completed extensive industry-specific training related to home construction. He also has over 20 years professional experience in the remodeling field.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Remodeling is customized to your specific home, needs and wishes. It is a complex and detail-driven industry, so standard pricing isn't available. However, for average project pricing you can visit our website and review the "Project Costs" page.

How did you get started in this business?
Wade grew up in the remodeling industry, working for his father in North Carolina building additions, kitchen and bath remodels, etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The first thing is to consider and decide what is most important to you. There are numerous factors that will affect the success of your project and your experience. Think about the following factors and decide which ones are most important. Rank them if you can.
Cleanliness, Cost, Functionality of the improvement, Long-term performance of the improvement, Creativity in design, Trustworthiness and personal connection with who you work with, Timeliness of completion, Level of service you receive, Quality of final project appearance, etc.
Once you've determined what is most important to you, look for companies you believe can deliver what you're looking for and interview them.
Contrary to popular advice, obtaining 3 estimates and choosing the low or middle cost is not a good way to determine who you work with. Doing that is how you obtain "builder-grade" results. It motivates contractors to use sub-standard materials and build to minimal standards.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Most people think about what they want or need, and the cost of the project. These are great things to think about, but make sure you've thought about what you'll value after the project is done. Quality of the finished project and the process are generally the 2 things people value long-term.
