It's really nice meeting new people and making new friends, which happens regularly for us! I love blending new and renovated spaces into existing homes, adding creative touches here and there, and helping my customers enjoy their home, family and lives more.
We had our kitchen, dining room and family room remodeled by Simply Beautiful. They installed new custom cabinets, granite counters, got rid of the wallpaper and put up a great tile backsplash. We have a really small kitchen and Wade figured out how to fit everything we wanted with plenty of room. We added more storage than we had before and the kitchen still feels more roomy. I'm very pleased.
Wade and the team remodeled all three of our bathrooms. We had new tile floors, vanities and toilets put in all of them. Painting too of course and new light fixtures. The main bathroom we had a new bathtub and tile walls put in. It went well and everyone who comes over loves the improvements.
Our dining room was tiny so we added an addition off the kitchen. We went with the foam insulation they recommended and I'm surprised, the room is really warm, even with all the windows. They also built our deck with Trex decking and a black aluminum railing that looks great. I'm really glad I'm never going to have to stain my deck. We lost a few days because it kept raining but otherwise everything went exactly to plan.
I contacted Simply Beautiful Remodeling to finish my basement. They provided a very detailed estimate and we knew exactly what they were planning to do. We wanted a wet bar and fireplace in the family room, a spare bedroom for when my parents come to visit, and a bathroom with a tiled shower. They completed it on time and on budget with no surprises. We didn't even have any dust in the rest of the house which surprised me. We want to remodel our master bathroom in a few years and we'll definitely give them a call. Very happy!
First contact: our customers either email us directly, fill out our website contact form, or give us a call. We'll ask a series of questions to get to know you, understand your hopes for your project, and find out what your budget is. If you don't have a budget, we can provide a free rough initial estimate during our conversation with you. If we feel like we're a good fit for eachother, we'll schedule an in-person meeting at your home.
In-person meeting: we'll meet you at your home to discuss what you'd like to accomplish, review the home, and talk about how we handle our projects, as well as answer any initial questions you may have. If design services are needed, we'll discuss the design agreement and proposal process.
Once design is complete, we'll provide a fixed-cost lump-sum proposal for the project. If that's approved we get started with construction as soon as possible.
Construction times and schedules can vary greatly, but on average, a complete bathroom remodel may take 3-6 weeks, a kitchen remodel may take 4-10 weeks, basement finishes take 6-12 weeks, and additions typically take over 1-3 months.

Remodeling is customized to your specific home, needs and wishes. It is a complex and detail-driven industry, so standard pricing isn't available. However, for average project pricing you can visit our website and review the "Project Costs" page.
Wade grew up in the remodeling industry, working for his father in North Carolina building additions, kitchen and bath remodels, etc.
The first thing is to consider and decide what is most important to you. There are numerous factors that will affect the success of your project and your experience. Think about the following factors and decide which ones are most important. Rank them if you can.
Cleanliness, Cost, Functionality of the improvement, Long-term performance of the improvement, Creativity in design, Trustworthiness and personal connection with who you work with, Timeliness of completion, Level of service you receive, Quality of final project appearance, etc.
Once you've determined what is most important to you, look for companies you believe can deliver what you're looking for and interview them.
Contrary to popular advice, obtaining 3 estimates and choosing the low or middle cost is not a good way to determine who you work with. Doing that is how you obtain "builder-grade" results. It motivates contractors to use sub-standard materials and build to minimal standards.
Most people think about what they want or need, and the cost of the project. These are great things to think about, but make sure you've thought about what you'll value after the project is done. Quality of the finished project and the process are generally the 2 things people value long-term.
