I work in all manner of fields, including deck design and construction, rough and finished carpentry, painting, light plumbing and electrical work, ceramic tile and stone veneer, among others, which allows me to complete many complex projects myself rather than having to involve multiple contractors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss the scope of the project over the phone, followed by visiting the site for a free estimate, and then setting up dates and times that work for completing the project.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I work on a wide variety of projects in different trades and fields, from painting, to custom finished carpentry, to deck and gazebo construction, so it is largely case by case. However I do my very best to work well within a customer's budget, and provide an itemized bill upon the completion of the month along with copies of any receipts for materials purchased.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started working for my dad, who owned and operated his own painting business for the better part of three decades.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Know your budget ahead of time.
Know an acceptable time frame you're willing to or need to work within
Know, or at least have a good idea of, what will really make you happy when the project is completed - we can talk about price options, and feasibility of different options but the goal is for the end product to be something you love and value as an addition to your home.
