What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First meeting to find out their desires.

Supply client with websites of various house plans.

Once a floorplan is chosen, have our draftsman draw up plans.

Review plans and make any desirable changes.

Once plans are approved by client, we provide a spreadsheet for all areas of construction and  websites to look at and select materials.

Once the spreadsheet is completed by the client, we submit to our suppliers for bids.

We will provide the client with an estimate of what we think the price will be before we get our quotes. Usually the client respects our experienced estimate and we enter into a contract. 

Usually the client presents the contract to their lender for approval. 

Once all parties accept the contract, we submit the drawings and supporting paperwork for a building permit.

We provide the client a proposed work schedule with an estimated completion date.

Upon issuance of building permit we start construction immediately. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters Degree and am very good at handling the scheduling, communication with the client, ordering materials and non labor tasks.

Our subs are older individuals that have up to 50 years of on hands experience.

In order for us to have our respective licenses we have had to take courses and exams.
