Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free no obligation estimate in the areas that we work in. If a contract is written a draw schedule is agreed upon and signed to. Final payment is due at the signing of the completion certificate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
36 years successful in business since 1983
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every project is different so therefor every quote is different. We price out each job as necessary to come up with the best plan and most efficent way to complete it at the most competetive price we can. So after 36 years in business we must be doing something right.
How did you get started in this business?
My Father who was a successful builder pointed me in the direction of the remodeling business as at that time it was very big in our region.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types in every profession in all parts of Maryland.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Most importantly to check the Maryland Home Improvement Commission for any complaints lodged against the company that you are considering. Next to call the BBB to also check to see if there are any complaints. And in most cases getting one to three references as necessary. And finally to see if the compatibility between contractor and homeowner is good. If all three check out to be good then there should be very little or no problems in hiring that contractor.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Understanding what they want is most important.
