With years of construction experience, FiveTen Properties focus’ on residential and commercial construction projects across Massachusetts. We are a full-service development and construction management company serving clients with all of their project needs from window replacements, to resale renovations, to new construction, to investor-friendly projects. With FiveTen Properties you’ll get two General Contractors for the price of one! Together Elias and Alison are able to offer our clients, not only construction expertise and services, but better customer service, project management, design, and even the option of a finish material concierge service. ELIAS DA ROCHA: President, director of construction, and licensed heavy equipment operator. Elias comes with a hands-on background in framing, foundations, finish carpentry, tile installation, and more. He manages employees and subs daily, on-site quality control, and project management. ALISON LOISELLE: Licensed General Contractor (CSL #112264), project manager, and customer liaison. Alison has a business degree, background in design and project management, and has a 6+ years of experience in real estate investing. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding the vision and goals of the homeowner is the most important piece of working with a new customer. Once we understand what you're looking for, we can tailor a custom plan for your vision. We strive to provide fair, consistent pricing and high quality work, executed in a timely manner.

How did you get started in this business?
We are a wife/husband owned business and we started this business with the goal of property investing (flipping houses and owning rental properties). As we developed our skills and experience, we realized we really love development and had the opportunity to work with homeowners on some of their projects.
We found that our expertise in creating great looking properties with budget friendly designs really worked great for homeowners looking to update their houses or prepare them for sale. Bang for your buck is one of the main ways we help homeowners.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure to tour current projects they have on-going. If they don't have work or don't want to show you work they've recently done, that's a huge red flag. We are always more than happy to walk potential customers through our projects and pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the cleanliness of our jobsites.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Their vision is the number one place to start. Make sure you can show your contractor what you're looking for. After that, I would make sure that they have examples of work they've done accomplishing the same thing you're looking for.
After that, I would consult with the pro to see what sort of plans are needed (if necessary), timeline you're looking to complete the work in, rough estimate of your budget, and maybe a proritization of the work in case the quote and budget don't necessarily match up.
