About
Tony La Puma is one of those rare individuals with an exaggerated sense of responsibility; perhaps this was developed during all those years in parochial school, laboring to complete the “Palmer” penmanship paper. “One thing I did learn”, says Tony, or Anthony as his mother and family call him, “is that you stay with something until it is finished, no matter the time or effort needed, you complete the project at hand”.
In keeping with that sense of responsibility Tony also volunteers one Saturday a month to build handicap ramps and to help those financially and physically disadvantaged with the maintenance of their homes. “I try to give the same quality product to those in need as I do my customers, rather than treat people the way I want to be treated, I strive to treat people the way they want to be treated”, says Anthony. To quote his mother, “Your name is Anthony, if I wanted you to be called Tony, I would have named you that”!
“I come from a long line of entrepreneurs so I guess you could say I inherited that can do attitude at an early age, my first job was picking rocks out of the loam pile at my father and uncle’s business for $10.00 dollars a week, if I could stick with that then I can stick with anything”.
The question becomes why does “Tony” do what he does? The answer is twofold, “I started out in the corporate world by taking over for my supervisor at U.P.S. when I graduated from Boston College, I soon learned that the politics and Tests Of Loyalty To The Company were not for a straight shooter such as myself and secondly I have a great passion for the creative process that takes place during a construction project, the aroma of the newly turned soil as we form and shape the land for our customers dream project is the scent of satisfaction for our customer and for Dream Builderz’ as we walk down the construction road together. Perhaps this is why one real estate broker gave me the nick name On Time Tony, Federal Express thinks they are the originators of On Time Every Time .If anyone knows me, They know I am an all in type of guy, if I was to give myself a nickname it would be Full Tilt Tony, just don’t tell my mother!
Dream Builderz’ goal is to be known as the “can do contractor”, the company that takes on and completes every job. We have a saying, “the customer is always the customer” what this means is that we strive to meet every request presented by our client’s and treat them the way they want to be treated.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Aftern initial contact, I make an appointment to visit the project location and let the client cast the vision for the end results. I will draw a schematic of the existing conditions and of the proposed vision. Once we have accomplished what the final product is to look like, I will compile a detailed proposal for the client's perusal. If the client is satisfied and wants to move forward we will then prpare the contract and begin the project.
