My name is Nick. I am both 0wner and and lead installer. This means you get to work with me from estimate to final payment. Ive helped run a company called imperial fence in woburn mass over the past 5 years and have gotten a great look at the ups and the downs of the buisness. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first touch base through phone and get a general Idea of the project. Yard size, existing fence, is it for pets or privacy, type of fence style, etc. Then set up and in person estimate. That's when I'll measure the property bring up any obstacles and discuss best option for materials. With in 48 hours I will have the quote or quotes back depending on if they were interested in more than one style and we work togeather from there
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have nearly ten years installing fence for a company called imperial fence out of Woburn Mass. If you check out they're social media most of the work there was installed by me
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
So fence is bid a bit abnormal compared to other types of construction. The way I bid fence by the number of hole dug. Depending on the obstacles that I'm facing usually between 75 and 100 dollars per 8 ft section w/post and cap dug and installed. Generally I charge cost on material unless its something like custom wood that would take me extra time to put togeather.
