Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I assess the issue and let the customer know what I need to do to resolve it. I let the customer know what the cost will be, and then I am able to fix the problem for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a trade school to learn HVAC in a year long program. I received my EPA Universal Certification which allows me to work on any system that involves HVAC. I have been working in this field of work for the past 8 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We charge a service fee of to come and assess the issue. Then from there I am able to resolve the problem.
How did you get started in this business?
I was looking for a different way to provide for my family. After doing some research I saw that this was in high demand. From there I went to trade school and worked hard to get to where I am. I chose this field of work because I enjoy working with people face to face, and helping them to become comfortable in their home again.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers from having their system not able to turn on, with an easy fix to just replacing a fuse. Then I have worked with customers where the condenser needed to be completely replaced. I have worked with customers where their furnace isn't working with a simple fix, but also some with extreme situations as well. There is a large range of customers that I have worked with, and each time I have been able to resolve their issue.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you feel completely confident in the professional that you are hiring. Things that can help gain this confidence are Reviews, Pricing and the Background Check. Make sure to ask questions, so that you are not taken advantage of by other professionals.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What type of system do you have? Have the model and serial number on hand. Where is your system located? In what way is the system not working correctly? Have you experienced issues with this system in the past? If so, how was it resolved?
