Here's what new customers can expect: Initial Contact & Scheduling We begin with a conversation to understand your needs. We'll schedule an on-site visit to assess the work, whether it's a repair, renovation, or new installation. On-Site Evaluation & Estimate During our visit, we thoroughly inspect the area and discuss options. We provide a detailed written estimate, there’s a $50 fee, but it’s waived if we’re hired to complete the job. Clear Communication & Timeline Once the estimate is approved, we discuss the timeline and walk you through what to expect. We’re committed to open communication, so you’re never left in the dark. High-Quality Work We perform all work to state code standards using quality materials. Cleanliness, safety, and professionalism are our priorities on every job. Follow-Up & Satisfaction After the work is completed, we ensure everything is functioning properly and up to your expectations. We want you to feel confident in the work we’ve done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an overall 20 plus years of experience in commercial and residential settings. I graduated from a 5-year Apprenticeship through the Local Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union where I was taught the proper procedures of all plumbing aspects, from the installation of various piping systems to repairing/ replacing fixture parts and installing various brands and styles of fixtures. Furthermore, I was educated and Licensed by the State of Louisiana in Plumbing LIC./ I.D.# LMP 7125, Back Flow Prevention LIC./ I.D.#LJP7125, and Medical Gas Installer/Brazer LIC./I.D.#LMG6829. I am competent and qualified with the installation, testing, and replacement/ repair of Plumbing, Back Flow Preventers, and Medical Gas systems. I also attend yearly and bi-yearly continuing education on the updated codes of Plumbing, Back Flow Prevention, and Medical Gas.

I charge by the hour, plus the cost of materials. We also provide discounts for first time new customers, as well as first responders and military veterans.

How did you get started in this business?

After high school, I decided I wanted to eventually own my own construction business. I was directed to the local union where I was given an opportunity to enroll in a five-year apprenticeship program in the field of plumbing. I found it very interesting and after the completion of the program, I was fully licensed in plumbing, backflow prevention, and the installation of medical gas. During this time I also worked for a small plumbing company gaining hands-on schooling.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One recent project I’m especially proud of was for a customer named Dan M. in New Orleans. He was dealing with a dry, struggling landscape and reached out to Prime Plumbing for help installing a complete irrigation system. After evaluating his yard’s layout and water needs, we designed and installed a customized system that ensured even, efficient watering across his entire property. Within just a couple of weeks, Dan started seeing noticeable improvement in the health of his plants. Now, his landscaping is thriving and so is his pride in it! Dan was thrilled with the results and told us he finally feels like his outdoor space matches the beauty of his home. Knowing that our work made such a positive difference in his day-to-day life is what makes projects like this so rewarding.

When hiring a plumbing professional, always prioritize experience, licensing, and reputation. Here’s my advice: Verify Credentials. Make sure the plumber is licensed and insured in your state. This ensures they meet the necessary training and safety standards to legally perform the work. Ask for References or Reviews. A reputable plumber should have a track record of satisfied customers. Check online reviews or ask for referrals to learn about others’ experiences. Get a Written Estimate. Always request a detailed written estimate before work begins. This protects both parties and ensures transparency on costs, materials, and scope of work. Know What’s Included. Ask questions about what's covered under the quote, how long the job will take, and if there's a warranty or guarantee on the work. Don’t Choose Based on Price Alone. The cheapest bid isn’t always the best. Quality workmanship, proper materials, and safety compliance are worth the investment and prevent future problems. Communication Matters.
