About
I've been in business for 35 years and counting. I learned a number of different trades and many little tricks along the way in order to make the job go better and more smoothly adding to the quality of our work . Now passing on to my son and other crew members . Did work on many of the older buildings in New Orleans. Flushed out pipe, changed out pipe from the cast iron to PVC Put new sewer lines in. Put drain lines inside the building some outside the building some under the building. We ran new water lines from the old galvanized pipe to the new pex pipe. We remodeled and renovated bathrooms and kitchens and the hold house. The list goes on and on. 35 years experience we've run into some pipes that were made out of logs Cypress tubes and leaded in the joints.
After being in this business 35 years I look back I can only remember having a two-week stop. Where no work came in I was off for 2 weeks35 years I've been off 2 weeks that I didn't want to be off. So to say now , " one doesn't stay in business 35 years if he's not doing something right ". You got to admit contractors contract just come and go but only the good, honest and they cares more about the job than the money are the ones who retire doing contracting work.
c than the money
What do I like about the work I do, come on be real like, It's interesting to me, challenging sometimes. It was challenging at one time now it's pretty much a given. After doing a certain type of work so long you have to agree that you pick up little tricks and tips of wayls to make your job easier. Trying to pass them on to my help. It's challenging to see a project being built from ground up. Every one of my projects is a challenge to do the best I can an make it better than the last.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
****Depending on the type of job. I like to meet with them at the job site, go over the plans make sure we are in tune. Tell them give me a day or two to think about the job because I always come up with better ways of doing their job. I like taking the time to look at all the different avenues . If the job is big enough I like to take them out for lunch or dinner so we may sit down and discuss what they want done. But number one is I always write up a thorough contract where as my customers know what is going to be done. I even State what's not going to be done if I think there may be a misunderstanding in the future.****
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for engineering drawing and graphic technology (drafting). Certified master carpenter, wood, laminate, ceramic flooring installer, certain types of roofing and painting courses through your neighborhood Home Depot store. Also completed courses many times in the School of Hard Knocks. Also my son Chase works with me is certified as an air condition and electrical technician who has also been in this business for approximately 17 years.
