I retired from the Navy where I served 20 years in the Submarine Force.  A big part of Submarine life is cleaning, painting and preservation of the ship.  It was a social, team building activity that all hands took part in. I always felt a sense of accomplishment following those weekly events and long term overhauls.

In the same way, Fixit-Cleanit-Junkit Property Clean out and Handyman Work is basically about improving our customer situation, helping people and meeting people and ultimatley building relationships we can both depend on.  

In todays world, so many folks just dont have time to work, raise children, care for aging parents, have a life of their own and donate to Good Will or visit a scrap yard.  Thats where FCJ comes in.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Arrange to meet the customer at the jobsite location, discuss requirements and expectations.

If we agree on terms and conditions, write a service agreement and present to the customer.  In a pinch I can do this by hand to expidite the process.

Provide proof of insurance.

Set a date to begin.

Provide before and after pictures of the project to the customer.

In the best case scenario, review the completed project with the customer to ensure complete satisfaction.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My education in this field is experienced based.  As a 20 year Navy Veteren and 10 year Manufacturing Maintenance and Operations Manager and former roofer and Home Improvement Contracrtor, I have managed multiple expansion projects, equipment installations and remodleing projects that require and developed my skills and decision making ability.
