Hi, I am Rick Reiner, president of the company. I have owned my company for over 25 years and am "A" rated in all the major rating bureaus. Meetings are informational and designed to help you understand the remodeling process and to help define your needs and to explain the remodeling process.
i enjoy the ability to turn an old worn-out space into a beautiful and functional area so that my customer loves what has been done. I am a graduate engineer from IIT in Chicago and have a masters in business. I also have taken continuous education and have a Cerified Remodelers deignation. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first meeting is to get an idea of the clients needs and expexctations. We look at the areas to be remodeled and discuss possibilities of change - whether it will be updated with little changes in layout or whether a major renovation is a possibility. We take measurements and pictures and then after a few days meet again with ideas and estimated costs. The meetings are always low key with no pressure.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an engineering degree from IIT in Chicago a business degree from the University of Chicago and am a CR - a Certified remodeler one of only a few thousand in America denoting further education and experience. My son-in-law, Mickey, is project d sales manager and is a sculptor, with great design sense.

How did you get started in this business?
Thirty five years ago a friend of mine in the business suggested I look into working with him. I liked the idea and have enjoyed almost every day since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Homeowners looking to upgrade their home and get more enjoyment out of it.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We were able to help out a client that was taken advantage of by an unscrupulus contractor and finished a large project in a month that was lingering unfinished for a few years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You should feel that the company you are hiring is one that will help you from start to finish. Too often you meet with a sales agent and then after signing a contract you never see them again.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Mark down what they want to accomplish from the remodeling process, save pictures from magazines. Do you want the least expesive job done or do you want a top quality job for possibly a little more money. You can get an inexpensive job, a job done fast, or a top quality job. You can almost never get all three.
