I donated repair cost to some lawn repair imposter and Patrick save the situation and my tractor runs like new. Great customer service providing pickup and drop off at your home for equipment. Patrick even installed a shut off valve to the fuel tank to prevent future issues that had caused my equipment to malfunction. Great service – Great Price” Did I say Great Service. Kirk P. says, "I have been a customer of Carol Stream Lawn and Power for about 16 - 17 years now. I have purchased a commercial grade zero-turn mower for my two acres, multiple chainsaws, a leaf blower, a line trimmer, etc., from Ralph and his team and have ALWAYS been impressed by their product selection and expertise. I never write reviews but happened to see these Google reviews during a search for their companies website and felt compelled to toss in my two cents (actually it is closer to $11,000.00 by now). First of all, if money is an issue, there is always the 'big box' option.....this is not where I would normally shop for equipment of this nature, however. Product selection and knowledge is typically minimal and maybe a few basic parts are stocked. And repairs - good luck with that. Secondly, C.S.L.P. is a seasonal business and like ANY seasonal business there are busy as well as slow times. I have learned to have maintenance performed during the OFF season whenever possible. I have had repairs finished sooner than expected and repairs that took longer than expected. Nobody's crystal ball is perfect but theirs is pretty darn close, in my experience. Oh, that rude person(s) that a few reviewers have commented on is always either sick or out to lunch on the days that I have been to the store. Seriously though folks, C.S.L. & P. has not been in business for decades AND thrived because they have treated customers poorly. Thanks for the great experiences Ralph & Patty. December, 2015 - I purchased a Gravely 8199KT back in 1985 and it finally sounded like it was on its death bed, this past winter, as the engine had NEVER been worked on (plugs, oil changes, etc. I did myself). Anyway, C.S.L. & P. picked it up and discovered that one of the valve seats had come loose and that the part(s) were no longer available. Thank goodness I was in a facility with some very experienced techs who managed to make the repair, to my precious 31 year old Gravely. They had my machine (I have a 4' snow thrower mounted to it) for less than 2 weeks and charged me about $200.00 for parts, labor, pick-up, and return to my house. Who has service like this anymore. REALLY! Thanks again guys and gals. Kirk." Read more
