We work together as a team to oversee all aspects of your construction projects from start to finish. We provide various types of construction services for our clients; our skilled carpenters offer a vast knowledge in decks being repaired/replaced or built. Boating docks constructed or replaced/ repaired. Other phases of construction services we offer consist of interior/ exterior painting, waterproofing, flooring, interior and exterior remodeling, electrical, framing, roofing, plumbing, and landscaping.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers contact us about many different related services relating to construction or remodeling or building. Typically, we speak to the clients over the phone, we will come to your home or business to see what vision you might have for building or remodeling. We will also take photos upon arrival and sometimes we will sketch the work on to give a visual. Afterwards we will provide a detail quote on materials, labor, and the timeline to complete and finished the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Maurice Benjamin has vast knowledge in the construction industry with over 20+ years in remodeling, building, and framing along with all phases of general contracting related services and work. Maurice is a certified electrician with an associate degree in business, In 2013 In 2013 Maurice completed the 120 hour of home inspector education in SC and passed the National Home Inspector exam to further is knowledge and education for construction related services in South Carolina.

Once we meet with the client we will provide a detail estimate for the work to be completed.
How did you get started in this business?
Born in raised in Pennsylvania and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. (Data Communications Electronics Tech) -After he served his country, he furthered his career as a licensed electrician in the state of PA. He has worked in the electrical industry for many years completing residential, commercial, and industrial jobs. In 2005, Maurice opened his own general contracting business in Pennsylvania. His work history in the construction industry is extensive. His company and team of guys framed, offered electrical services, provided demolition, built, remodeling, wiring, new home construction, snow removal, installed cabinetry, painting, restorative services. In 2009, when the real estate market went upside down and tanked - Maurice flipped his construction company into a "property preservation company" managing and maintaining foreclosed bank owned properties. At one point he had 300+ homes in 4 states with over a crew of 30 employees on his team. The team offered lawn service, cleaning, repairs, remodels, clean outs, evictions, and all phases of construction related work.
In 2013 Maurice completed the 120 hour of home inspector education in SC and passed the National Home Inspector exam to further is knowledge and education for construction related services in South Carolina. He has an associate degree in general studies. His attention to detail, work ethic and customer service is SUPERB. He will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with start, during and end of your construction project. His job is to make certain that all aspects of the job are completed to customers satisfaction

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Most recently we completed a bathroom remodel and the customer wanted tile to be installed for the shower area. The customer was very adamant that he didn't want any of tile cut. Our installer was laying it out and could not foresee moving forward without cutting the tile for the installation. With proper communication and supervision we were able to alleviate and remedy the situation and give the customer exactly want they requested no cut tile.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you have a good relationship with an open line of communications with your general contractor, so you may be satisfied with aspect/detail of your requested project to be completed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Time frame, the expected budget for the project.
