Some STARTING labor prices: Water heater install: $850 Sink, tub, toilet clog: $99 Faucet install: $155 Toilet install: $165 Garbage disposal install: $165 Sewer line cleared : $185 Sewer line camered: $225 These are starting prices for basic installations and they are provided as a guide. About half of our installations will meet this price but others have additional complications that could increase this general price. Also, these prices are for labor only and do not include the items being installed. While we cannot give you a firm price, here, we do give free, in-home estimates and quotes.

I started working with contractors during school vacation days in junior high.

About half of our clients are landlords, investors and realtors. The other half are homeowners.

Recently, a client came back to us to solve a problem that another plumber had convinced him was extra work. The landlord had a home in a community that had been plumbed with polybutylene ( grey poly). Many of the homes had continual leaks and plumbers would repair the leaks with patches that lead to more leaks. My client wanted his leak patched but we don't repair grey poly because it's a temporary fix and we can't warranty it for our standard 5 years because it won't last for even 1 year. I told him that the line should be replaced but another plumber told him to repair it for half the price of replacing it. After 9 months, the pipe broke somewhere else and he called me to replace the line rather than do a second repair. Some of his neighbors who had multiple repairs, themselves, saw me giving him a permanent solution and also got their lines replaced. It worked out well for many people.

Ask a lot of questions and understand the need for the work the professionals recommend. Ask what alternatives there are and what problems or benefits there are for each. Get more than one quote from professionals that have seen your particular job.know when you want the work done.

Know when you want the work done and know if other work needs to be done before your plumbing work. Ask how long the work will take and if you will have use of your water while the work is being done.
