We have an initial phone conversation so I can learn a bit more about your project.  We discuss  some of your basic needs, talk about your property and budget.

Then I set a meeting where you will give me a list of everything you need and desire in your home.  We can talk about very specific "wants" such as appliances, flooring, cabinetry, etc.

After our meeting, i will deign your new home to meet your budget.  The design process usually talks 4 weeks depending upon the size and complexity of your home.

Upon deign approval, we will visit numerous local supplier showrooms so you can see an array of available products.  I will obtain quotes from my suppliers based upon the selections made.  

After I recieve the quotes, I will complete my budget and tell you exactly how much your home will cost. I never build cost-plus or for a fixed fee.    

I hold a degree in architecture from New York Institute iof Technology.

Residential architecture / construction has been the focus of my work since graduation.  I started a practice in 1973 which grew to 35 architects by 1980.  All we did was housing....custom beach houses to garage additions. 

Housing is what I know! 

I do charge a modest design fee.
