About

We've been turning Dreams into Kitchens since 1984. We do work worldwide and frequently work out of state.

We pay extream attention to detail and therefore, cannot compete with most "Lowest bidders" who just want to come in, knock out the job quickly and cheaply and run away.

Our typical client is very discearning and is willing to pay a little bit more to receive top quality workmanship and materials.

I like seeing my clients faces the first time they see their completed kitchen!

P.S. Though I've been a member of Home Guide for a number of years, I have never pursued any actual leads they've sent me. I am considering perhaps doing that now and when I went to update my profile, I received a message telling me that I needed some reviews so I sent a link for that to some of our previous clients asking them if they might be so kind to provide a review for us.

This is why all of the reviews you are seeing all start around December 29th 2023.

Their attention to detail was meticulous. Eric asked questions and for my preferences on things Id never even considered when dreaming about this kitchen lirtally for years.
When he came to me and told me they were finished, I couldnt find anything that was not left perfect!

Frequently asked questions

Typically, after having an initial phone conversation, I ask a potential client to email me links or photos of kitchens they have seen and like. That way, I'll be able to gain a good understanding what type of samples I can bring them. After that, I will schedule an appointment to go to their home to continue the conversation and take measurements in preparation to present a formal proposal.

I've spent the last 37 years turning peoples dreams into new Kitchens & Bathrooms.

Each project is its own entity and our pricing is is highly customized based on the many different design aspects that can go into a new kitchen. There are no cookie cutter formulas here.

When in my early 20s, I was a union elevator mechanic and every time a job finished up, we would go back to the union hall and "sit on the bench" while waiting for more work to come our way. During that time off I would go to work for a friend of mine who was a contractor and the last time I was working for him and the union called me back, he asked me what it would take to keep me working for him and to not go back to elevator work. I told him and he immediately hired me full time on the spot. Less than a year later I went and took my contractors license test and went to work for myself as Father's Woodcraft llc. This was in March of 1984 and I have never looked back!

We routinely work with homeowners falling into the classification of middle income to extremely wealthy.

It is not uncommon that we find ourselves working on $5M, $10M & $20M homes but it is also not uncommon that we find ourselves working on $400K homes and everything in between.

We recently completed the installation 31 rooms of Cabinetry for the owners of Keurig and Green Mountain Coffee companies. We also contributed to the successful completion of a home in Nashville, Tennessee belonging to Alen Jackson the country musician.
Actually contact the contractor's references and do not simply rely on the fact that there are several listed. If you want actual contact information for my references, I can provide most of those for you. Most are willing to talk to possible future clients of mine
Go through design magazines and figure out what you are looking for. What design Style and what personality do you want your remodel to take on once completed. Also develop a budget. Many times a client goes into a remodel project with only half and as much money as it would really require in order to accomplish their goal. One of the first things you need to do with your contractor is have a realistic discussion regarding your budget and to establish that!
