The best part about my job is when I get to see the look on someone’s face, typically men, that think ‘a woman cannot understand or know this,’ and then I get to prove them wrong. I feel strongly about having a woman presence in the trades field, not only are these fields dominated by men who lack direction and compassion, but women can improve things with the combination of business know-how and their nurturing feminine considerations. We have serviced close to 30,000 customers in Palm Beach County. Many repeat customers and both residential & commercial work.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We just replaced over 30 Gas Tankless Water heaters in an apartment complex in West Palm Beach, where we were responsible for diagnosing, estimating proper size requirements & capacity flow for each building to have enough hot water & then organizing & executing the installation & workflow with minimal interruption to the tenants. This was a tedious but flawless operation that has resulted in our clients giving us a 5 Star rating.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is important that when hiring a contractor you research their credentials. Make sure they are state licensed, visit sunbiz.org and check for google reviews. Also, pick up the phone and hear how they respond to your phone inquiry. Are they receptive and professional, do you feel they are genuinely accommodating your request.? And best of all your neighbors and friends are always a good referral source.
