Stucco is a building material often used as siding on houses. Traditional cement stucco made of Portland cement, sand, lime, and water. This stucco type is cheap and easy to repair but more prone to cracking.
Synthetic stucco is made with a cement base and acrylic additives. Acrylic stucco is more expensive but more flexible, durable, and water-resistant. Synthetic and smooth-finish stuccos are slightly harder to apply and typically cost more in labor fees than traditional stucco.
