We are a third generation air conditioning and heating business owner. Curtis W. Kinney’s (former owner of Kinney’s A/C & Heating) grandson. I was taught by the best from right out of High School. “Papa” cut me NO slack. I started out as a duct mechanic’s helper. I went to vo-tech at night to learn the basics and the school of hard knocks during the day. From duct mechanic helper, I progressed to Job Foreman, running crews from 2 to 4 on jobs such as St. Paul’s School in Leesburg or Books-a-Million in the Lake Square Mall, then to Sales and Service Manager. I learned design and indoor air quality. Quality and fairness was our backbone and it was second nature. Anything else was unacceptable.
I was taught to be the customer’s informer, my customers are intelligent people. Give them enough information and let them make the smart choice that fits their budget. My reputation will be my highest advertising investment.
