What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer the best option would be for them to come into our showroom anytime Monday thru Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. This way they can work with one of our professional sales associates who will help them select a type of flooring that fits both their lifestyle and budget. Once the customer decides on which type of floor covering material (tile, wood, laminate, vinyl plank, carpet, etc.) they would like to have put down in their home or buisness the sales/design associate will work them personally to select some sample options from the huge selection we have in our showroom. I usually recommend picking out between 3-5 samples because you want to have some options but anymore than that then the customers tend to get overwhelmed.
From there, the sales/design associate would schedule a free, in-home consultation, in which he/she will come out to the customer's home with the samples they selected while at the showroom. The sales/design associate would then measure the areas you would like us to do for you and determine what labor is required including removal of existing floors, floor/wall surface prep for new flooring installation, and finally, installation of the new floors. They’ll also let you know if you’ll need any other trades involved such as a plumber or painter. If this is necessary we can refer you to someone we work with. Upon completing the evaluation / measure the sales associate will provide the customer with a complete quote for all the materials and labor needed to complete their new flooring project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our installations are supervised by one of our many field supervisors whom all have many years experience in the flooring installation industry. The supervisor will oversee the crew of installers doing the actual installation. All of our supervisors work for the company as employees and many of our installers do as well. We've been in buisness over 40 years and are trusted by some of the largest builders in Florida such as GL Homes, Lennar Homes, CC Homes and many more whom we do all the flooring installations for their builder projects.
