He said that he could do the job for $300.00 after looking at the deck. I brought the deck to his house for him to work on and agreed to paying the surcharge to use a credit card for payment. I paid the $300.00 that night because he said he was short on money. On June 27th he informed me the deck was done. On June 28th I went to pick up the deck. He was not at home and I loaded the deck into my van and noticed the blades were not installed. I phone and texted him asking where the blades were and got no response. On the 29th I texted him that if he left the blades where the deck was, I could pick them up later in the day again no response. I went to the house and there were no blades left outside. I notified him That I would be buying new blades and that I would send him the bill to be deducted from the final bill for the credit card surcharge and any taxes. After 7 days of no contact he did show up with the blades, and a bill for a additional 175.00 over the $300.00 with no deductions for my having to buy the new blades. In my opinion not a sound businessman.
