My relationship with Mina began when I was under contract for a house I was about to purchase. I reached out to her to set up an appointment for an estimate for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. She responded immediately, came out within a few days to perform a walk-through (at no charge), and brainstormed ideas with me on the spot related to the projects I had in mind in addition to other ideas around the house to help me as I embarked on furniture shopping, etc. Unfortunately that contract fell through and we moved on from that house, but I had to have Mina be a part of my next home in some way. It turned out the next house we moved forward with was in desperate need of a kitchen reno - so I called Mina once again. She provided a walk-through, designs and an estimate (very fair by the way) within a week - and the rest is history. Check out the amazing transformation in the pictures below. Mina is a bulldog in the project management sense - as a contractor, she runs a tight ship and demands perfection. She hired her own crew and was on-site everyday to ensure all was well. She stayed well within budget and the project was finished a few days earlier then what she estimated. I had entered this project with a pretty good idea of exactly what I wanted from a design standpoint - but I couldnt have pulled this off without her design advice. She gave great suggestions on materials and how to save money in addition to what would be worth investing in. The entire process was seamless, and she even returned to our house a few weeks after when we had an issue with one of our open shelves - she brought in a carpenter and fixed the issue for us with no charge. She absolutely went above and beyond, and I cant wait until I can hire Mina Herrera Design for another project. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Mina!
