What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is the initial contact either by phone or text message to where we discuss in General the work needed and then we set a date to meet up on property to further discuss project at hand and to take measurements, preliminary drawings and survey the area for access for man and machine and any obstacles that may hamper access to site. Then we proceed to estimates. If estimate looks good then we (depending on type and sizeof job) proceed to procuring plans and permitting, scheduling and so on.

How did you get started in this business?
I grew up with a neighbor that was building homes all around my neighborhood and as a curious kid i watched each house as they were building them and even helped out when they let me.
I developed a love for the industry at a young age and started building things on my own. My first subcontract job was at 14 years old and my career began.
I once built a 3 story structure (tree fort) that ended up being the only building that i forced to permit or tear down... Of course being only 14 years old I had to do the latter for i didn't own the property it was on

With over 28 years owning this company I've worked with all types of customers from the elderly needing access to their home and bathrooms to very wealthy corporations that have properties all over the world
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently helped an elderly woman on a fixed income with her garbage disposal on Thanksgiving Day. The sink was clogged and disposal not working.
I unclogged the drain and replaced the disposal. I only charged her for the disposal. I waved all my labor costs and she went on to cook her dinner for her family.
