  • Cathy Defilippo

Although it took us a few tries to connect, the work he did was excellent. He explained everything to me and had a price point that was more then competitive. I would definitely use him again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

New customers are required to pay with cash,Venmo,Apple Pay,Cash App. NO checks unless pre approved. Payment for service calls and small quick jobs is expected at completion of work. And bigger jobs requiring substantial funds where a quote has been given either verbally or written a deposit of 25% up to 75% is required for materials and supplies before any work is started and a contract is drawn up and agreed upon and signed by customer for ALL new and existing customers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Vocations Tech High school graduated in 1993

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Quotes are always free. For service calls and small jobs like a water leak clogged drains or no heat/hot water then there is a $150 call out which includes the first hour. There are jobs that are charged a flat rates no matter how long or short a time it takes. 99% of jobs have to be seen in order to be given a quote.

How did you get started in this business?

Through a Family business a full service oil company

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have and continue to work with every and all kinds of customers from  Commericial, to Residential, and industrial

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Be very weary of getting a quote or cost of a job without actually seeing the location and knowing exactly what the customer wants and or expects.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What is your budget and will it be a problem if unexpected issues or problems arise during the job. Which is probably the most concerning giving that most all people think that all jobs go as planned or in the ammount od time that "This Old House" does them in and remember there are almost always hidden costs that may and most likely arise especially if a wall, floor, or ceiling has to be opened up for access to complete a job.
