Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When the first initial contact is made, we try to get a general scope of the project on the phone. If it is a larger project, we appriciate it when clients have a design drafted up, if they don't we can recommend a good Designer to work with. We will then set up a meeting at the home to go over plans, specs, time frame and budget. Within a week normally we will return a quote for the design.
For smaller work, a simple meeting at the home to discuss the changes and a proposal within a day or two is returned.
Payment structure depends on the scope of work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a second generation General Construction company that has been around for the past 33 years. We have built numerous neighborhoods in the Greater Hartford area, accomplished about 3 dozen full house renovations in the last 3 years as well and numerous private additions, renovations, roofs, windows and siding.
We establish relationships with our contractors. We don't shop them around based on price, we keep them based on the quality of their work and their disposition with our clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with clients with all budgets and renovation needs. From the simple $500 trim fix to the 500K new home construction. We know that as a homeowner, when you call looking for a reputable contractor to help you solve a problem, it shouldn't matter the size.
