Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We generally meet with the customer first to go over their needs and wants. Then we quote the job that they want done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are all licensed and insured general contractors. We also carry workers compensation for all jobs and All crew members. We also go through a job site safety course that's OSHA approved by Safety Services and will show the certificate upon asking.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every job is different. Every home is different so there is no real easy way to answer this question.
How did you get started in this business?
I am a third generation contractor handed down by my father's father.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with every type of homeowner and house, and commercial jobs such as a few restaunts and nightclubs in downtown Hartford.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Advice I would give is to meet the pro and if you have a good feeling about him go forward and get an estimate. I would also suggest getting multiple estimates and giving the pro that you feel most comfortable with the opportunity to meet or beat those estimates if one comes in lower than his.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You should always think about style and color that matches your decor and most of the time it is a job that is going to last anywhere from 10-30 years if not more so also try to think ahead if you are planning on doing any other work. For example if you are getting your roof done I wouldn't go with a reddish Sierra look if your planning on getting siding done next and you want blue siding. Just an example. Go with a more neutral color dirt the roof or vice versa.
