What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I set an appointment by email, text, or calling. I arrive on time. I provide an estimate and explain what repaires  are needed. As long as its ok with the customer I typically perform the repair same day. I understand customers have a demanding work and time is valuable.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 14 years experience with garage doors. I have been running my own business for 5 years. I will listen to your concerns and try to get the repair done asap so you can get back to your schedule.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

I do have set pricing. Im a small business. I work out of my home. Low overhead. I pass the savings on to the customer. Great quality work at fair pricing.

How did you get started in this business?

I closed my door and one of the springs broke. I couldnt open. My neighbor was a garage door repair tech. He helpen me fix my door. He hired and trained me. I worked for a big company until 5 years ago.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with every type of customers. I am a very experienced tech. I understand its the customers home. I am there to help and perform a service. I always do that to the best of my ability.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.

I replaces an old door in a home in boulder. The customer wanted a garage door in an old building. She wanted to park inside. Several contractors declined the project. I completed the job and she can park inside this winter. She is so happy. It was great to get the job done. Win win. Good for my business and the customer is very happy. She promised to refer me to everyone she knows.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Do your research. Make sure the company has good reviews. Im new to Homeguide but I have 82 reviews this year and have 4.92 out of 5 stars. Being a small business I can offer discount pricing and still provide great service. I take pride in my business. I will make sure you are completely satisfied.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

I look for safety concerns 1st. I let the customer know what needs to be repaired right away and what can wait until later. I will explain anything wrong with the door and write up an estimate. Its your door. I will repair only what you ask.
