How to find bathroom and kitchen sink installers?

Start by searching our list of sink installers, then compare reviews and costs. Next: Get at least three estimates to compare. Look for licensed contractors or plumbers with sink replacement experience. Browse their reviews on HomeGuide and Google. Select companies that are insured, bonded, and have been in business for more than five years. Avoid selecting the lowest quote as quality may suffer. Get a detailed estimate, contract, and warranty in writing before the work begins. Never pay in full before the installation starts. Use a payment plan instead for work completed.

What questions to ask sink installers?

When hiring a plumber, ask them the following questions: What experience do you have installing sinks? Are you licensed, bonded, and insured? Do you have any example photos of your past sink installations? What type of sink do you recommend for a bathroom or kitchen, and why? Will I need to install a new faucet, or can I use my existing faucet? How long does the installation take? What is not included in the installation fee? Do you need a permit to install the sink? What additional costs should I expect? Is there a warranty, and if so, what does it include? How long can I expect the sink to last with regular use? What do you charge for repairs?
