Soleil Sitters
About
My name is Kiara Zobelein. I started Soleil Sittets in August of 2020, working with only a small circle of neighbors and friends. This small circle has since sprouted into a full-fledged business with clients throughout West Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Thousand Oaks. I have also been volunteering with Simi Valley Missing Pets since 2014. I have experience administering injections, eye drops, oral medication, and nasal medication. I truly care about all of the animals I work with, and I strive to make everyone's experience as fun and stress-free as possible. I look forward to working with you and your pet!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we will discuss rates, required services for the pet(s), and dates those services are required. Then I will go for a walkthrough of the house, meet the pets, and take note of where everything I will need is located.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I volunteered with Simi Valley Missing Pets for about six years, have four dogs of my own, and have fostered countless animals. I've also had experience pet sitting for neighbors.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started in this business?
My neighbors asked me to watch their dog and cat while they were away for a weekend, and I loved getting to spend time with the new animals. That job inspired me to start pet sitting more regularly.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with neighbors and family friends, both younger and older families. All have been very friendly and helpful.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently went to meet a customer's pets: a bird, a cat, and two Labradors. They were the sweetest animals, and I loved getting to play around with the dogs for a little while.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone responsible, organized, and reliable.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How does my pet behave around new people? How often do I want someone at the house or checking in? What do they need to know that I can put on a list for them? What services do I want?
