Lucia's Pet Care

You will see that I have a strong passion for animals, especially dogs. I have owned animals all my life; both cats and dogs, and I understand the role they play in our lives. I have acquainted myself with other pets like birds, fish, and other aquatic animals. Getting to know one's pet is important to bond and interact. I have assisted rescue animals, abandoned animals, and feral cats. I also take great care to understand what the owners' needs and requirements are for their pet and pet sitter. I care about the animals I house and treat them as if they are my own. All pets will feel welcomed, loved and safe when under my care.

I enjoy spending time with pets, getting to know their personalities and quirks, and taking long walks to enjoy nature and the weather. Hiking, trials, grooming, and sunbathing are my favorite activities when pet sitting.

This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! 1st my dog left with fleas and caked on poop which I had to urgently get treated by a groomer. 2nd she lies about her price and up charges you for EVERYTHING. If I didn’t review my invoice I would’ve over paid by $200. Though she was punctual in responding to you she nagged and hassled me all through my vacation about how she believes she needs to be paid more. I love my dog and wish I had an honest review like this before committing with her.

All the personal attention that our dog Surla got with Lucia and the family. Surla was treated like on of the pack and it is helping her learn to be more sociable.

I helped my family pets all throughout my life and have recently expanded to taking care of friends'and neighbors' pets on holidays and weekends. I enjoy pet care so much, I want to work full-time taking care of animals.

I have worked with all types of customers from young families to couples with pets. I am accustomed to working with all types of pets, some with a history of abuse. My mission is to take care of pets and allow the parents to be worry-free.

I have been taking care of a border collie, who is a rescue dogs. Consequently, she is normally skiddish and gets startled often. She hardly waves her tail and never barks. With my nurturing and caring, she was able to be more social and had developed relationships with myself and other dogs. I am very happy that the dog is slowly getting acclimated to a happy life.

Make sure there is a standard meet and greet.

Pictures and helpful hints are always appreciated. Seeing the layout and space available for the pets is important to dictate how safe and comfortable a pet's experience will be.
