Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Assess specific needs and objectives of the project to determine price, as often the customer receives vague requests from the government as to what is required. We provide a quick price and if the customer agrees we email a formal proposal with price, start date and turn-around time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS and MS degree in Civil and Structural engineering from USC. I am also a licensed Land Surveyor in the State of California with 25 years of experience in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering and Construction. Our team consists of licensed Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers and Soils Engineers. We have the best design drafting team for tip top complete detailed plans and mapping. We use the very latest in technology for all field measuring and data collection.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every project and property is unique so we price each individually based on the needs and objectives of the Client.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked as a drasftman and a chainman for and engineering company during the summer in my high school years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From home owners, real estate agents, contractors, land Surveyor's and engineers to large corporations, our clients base spans the rainbow.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for more than price alone. You typically get what you pay for. Typically the lowest price comes with an even higher price in terms of start time and completion. If you have to wait for a month to begin your project to save $300, you're probably going too loose more than that in delays alone not to mention quality.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make sure they have a professional license.
