TCE Constructors Inc
About
I've been fortunate to have some very knowledgeable mentors over the years and have learned how to build the right way. We have an experienced management team that works every day to transfer that knowledge to our team members, and urge them to excellence. Our jobsite team of professionals know the right way to build and are committed to building things right. We don't sacrifice quality for quantity, we stay true to the old school values of hard work and commitment to quality. I think that's something that is missing in a lot of builders these days.
We are committed to doing things right and having a positive outcome for the customer. We put an emphasis on the customer experience, on providing a quality product that the customer will be proud of and love to live in.
What I love most about this business is the people we get to work with. I love to help people and I know the construction process is complicated and expensive. I like that I can be a resource for our customers, to give them comfort in knowing that they can rely on us to give them an honest and informed answer to all their building related questions.
I like being able to provide our customers with a product that will give them shelter and sanctuary for a very long time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our initial meeting with new customers is a chance to get to know what their needs are and let them know a little bit about us.
We start by sharing some information on us, our past jobs and how we organize things to assist the customer with their needs.
The bulk of the time is spent getting to know what the customer needs and what their wants are.
We want to be sensitive to the customer and respect their time so we don't try to sell them anything, we want them to be comfortable with us. We give them our contact information and set a time to reconnect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Owner Scott VanArsdale's background includes time in the trades as a carpenter, in school with emphasis on real estate and finance, and in the corporate finance world with several certificates related to building and finance. But he really loves building construction and helping people. He has been doing that for over Forty years, that is where the most valuable training is.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Building repurposing is such a specialized business, each project has its own path, there is no system that can accurately price projects. We gather as much information as possible from the customer then combine that with our in-house estimating system and our many years of experience to tailor a special estimate for each project.
How did you get started in this business?
Owner Scott VanArsdale studied Architecture in college but didn't see a path to his future so moved to the trades as a carpenter. After a few years and born with a natural desire to learn, he realized quickly that his path forward was as an owner. Joining with a couple friends, he began his first company at 21, starting the path to business ownership.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have many types of customers, from property management companies to homeowners to business owners. All have their own needs and desires, we work hard to exceed expectations on every type of project.
