About

Hi !! You may know me already as I've been sweeping chimneys in the bay area for years, but for other companies such as Mastersweep etc. I've swept, repaired, and inspected hundreds if not a thousand or more chimneys,so I can say with confidence that I have plenty of experience in this craft.I take pride in the work I do and I make it a point that when I leave a customers home they are 100% satisfied with my work and they are more than happy to recommend me to their family and friends.

What do I enjoy about the work I do? I like the fact that every chimney is always a little bit or quite a bit different than the other,it keeps things interesting.I do enjoy meeting new people(new customers) and having the knowledge and ability to correct or solve any problem people have with their fireplaces/chimneys/woodstoves

    Frequently asked questions

They call me.They ask about my prices. We agree upon a time and date that is convenient for them. They tell me the specifics I need to know such as,Is the house a one story? Is it a fireplace or woodstove and so on. I arrive at the appointment on time.I introduce myself. They show me their wood burning appliance. I safely and carefully do my work while always with extreme vigilance watch for a vacum any particles of soot ash or dust I find.I service the chimney, fireplace to the best of my abilities.I write a condition report explaining any and all repairs needed and the general overall shape of their wood burning appliance. We schedule another date if necessary if any repairs are needed.I give them the condition report/bill.They pay me ,I leave. And they write a great review about me and the work I've done. And everybody is happy !

This is a great question for me...I have been sweeping chimneys off/on since 1987. I have worked for a couple of large chimney sweep companys where my schedule was 6-8 chimneys a day,6 days a week for 4 to 5 months. I have also worked for myself some years. I don't think that there is anything concerning a chimney, woodstove, fireplace insert, short connect, direct connect,ZC,relined, single flue, multiflue, masonary flue tiles, concrete flue tiles, stovepipe, installed heat a lators that I haven't repaired or cleaned. The only gap in my knowledge are pellet stoves, which I intend on learning more about asap. There is formal training to be a certified chimney sweep and I'm sure I could learn a few techniques from such, and probably a bunch of building/fire codes that apply to the east coast.I would feel confident saying that if I were to take a test I would come out at 95%.I don't shortcut anything.I do every job the way it should be done.I work smart and I work safe.Thank you for taking the time to read this.
