What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually arrives at first to asses the issue and gives a price on the spot. while 95% of the jobs can be done on the first visit, there's no commitments from the customer side for anything.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
got trained by a garage door company and worked for them for a year. I didn't like the fact that they are taking advantage of customers desperate situations. so I left and since than, work 4 years by myself.

I charge very reasonable prices. prices are usually combines parts and labor.
How did you get started in this business?
I always loved working with my hands. So when I first had a problem with my own garage door I tried to take care of it myself. I felt intrigued, and started working in it. the rest is history.

During my 5 years in the business, I have worked with thousands of customers. I met people from different backgrounds and was able to help them with the right solution in the cheapest price.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
arrived to a customer, he had a terrible off track, the door was smashed on the ground and the garage was completely exposed. I was able to deliver and install a brand new garage door for him on the same day! that made him so stress free and happy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
make sure the technician uses the best materials out there and not trying to save money by installing cheap materials. This means safty problems. and this is the key word in garage door world.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
garage door replacement parts are long lasting, so besides safty, you are investing for the future when you chose to replace a part. you might want to ask yourself "am I planning to live in this house for another decade or so"?
