What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would start with an initial interview over the phone. We would then set a timeline for a preliminary budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1) B.S. in Business Management and Economics - 1986
2) Over 30 years in the the industry as a Carpenter, Contractor and Construction Manager in both High End Residential Home Building and Light Commercial Construction.

No, we would provide a detailed estimate for each job based on the specifications, plans, job walks and interviews with the owners and designers.
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up in a construction family in Montana, graduated from college in 1986 from Montana State University, and moved to the Bay Area where I started my construction career in 1988.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Both residential and commercial clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Completing the last home for a family in Palo Alto, then watching the family enjoy the living environment that was created.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meet the contractor to see how your personalities may work together. Have them share some of their projects with and how they may relate to the upcoming project. Ask about the budgeting and scheduling process. Specifically ask how involved the owner of the construction company will be involved in their project.
