What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first offer a professional review of the roof. This includes the view from the top, measuring and photographing, and then the view from underneath to make sure the two stories give us a complete picture. Then we provide an overview of a complete roofing system's structural benefit as well as comfort and health for the family. Lastly, we provide a complete quote that is good for 3 months.

Each roof is different in shape and slope. We measure exactly so we can provide the highest value for the specific roof. In many cases the savings created here can offer the homeowner an opportunity to upgrade to premium products.
How did you get started in this business?
We started with solar to provide proper consultation of electrical usuage and sizing of systems. In many cases the homeowner needs to match the useful life of the roof with that of the planned solar system. To reduce "energy leakage" we added lifetime paint coatings that reduce heat by up to 30 degrees. Then came argon filled double pane windows to complete our exterior portfolio for energy savings and security - better than bars!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We completed a home that had a wood shake roof with two layers on top. The homeowner had been given a couple quotes and no one talked about the incredible mess that can occur with a removal like this. The removal stage is important for us and we take great pride in doing it well. The homeowner talked with a neighbor about the "tear-off" of her wood shake and she described a disaster. When he chose us and saw the process he was amazed at the potential mess and what we did to mitigate problems. He was very impressed and we appreciated him keeping the garage refrigerator stocked with Gatorade for the roofing crew!
