My experience with animals covers a broad range. You could call me a "pioneer" of the pet-sitting industry because when I started my pet-sitting service "Comfy Critter Pet Sitter" in 1990 pet-sitting was still in it's infancy. People often asked me with a smirk, "You do what? Babysit animals?" No one is smirking today as the market has exploded!

Pet sitting came natural to me because I already had a dozen years of animal rescue under by belt when I started my service. And though today, I no longer have an animal sanctuary, I still always try my best to help an animal in need, Though I have cared for small reptiles I must admit that I am squeamish with snakes and snake care is something I'd rather avoid. Still, that didn't stop me from trying to revive a snake that had been hit by a car and I always stop to ensure that a snake in the road makes it across safely as I want no creature to suffer.

Throughout my years of experience I have immersed myself in everything related to animals, educating myself in animal behavior, animal nutrition, animal legislation and much, much more. My knowledge base is always available to my customers whenever they need someone to talk with about a problem they are encountering with a beloved pet. I've helped many a customer solve a pet's dietary or behavior issue.

I hope you can tell from this profile that I am passionate about animals and their quality of life and would give 100% of myself to the home and pets in my care!
