Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have come to find that being open and honest with our customers is the most effective approach to help build trust and deliver a high-quality product that homeowners love.
The Create Call - initial call to ensure that we are a fit for your needs. On this call, we’ll gather general information about the customer, project, scheduling.
Create Vision & Meeting - Create Construction project manager will meet with the client in person or virtually and learn all about their vision and discuss ideas, budget, and needs. The initial consultation is complimentary.
Create Design & Plans & Proposal - A project manager will do a second meeting with or without the architect & designer, depending on the type of project. During this stage, our project manager will reveal the detailed scope of work, the timeline for the project, and the project proposal.
Create Pre-Construction - We will create a work plan and schedule. Selecting and ordering all required finish materials is crucial at this stage to ensure no delays due to missing materials.
Create Construction & Follow Up – A construction project manager will oversee all aspects of the project and update the client regularly, as well as provide access to our online project management system to see the progress of the construction project. This includes scheduling, selections, correspondence, etc. When the project is nearing completion, we will schedule a walk-through and create a punch-list (items to be completed) of the project. Once the project is completed, we will have space professionally cleaned. After a couple of months, you will receive a call from us to hear about how you enjoy our creation!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, WE CAN SHARE WITH YOU OUR PRICE LIST. HOWEVER, NOT ANY ITEM IN THE PRICE LIST WILL NECESSARY BE REQUIRED IN YOUR TYPE OF PROJECT.
Each project is unique and has its own character and scope related to the specific project. For example, some kitchen remodel will require bringing the plumbing and electrical to today's city codes, and some kitchens are already meeting today's codes. Another good example is the difference between a kitchen remodel when the customer wants to relocate and change the complete kitchen layout as opposed to the customer that wants only to update the existing kitchen layout.
How did you get started in this business?

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I recommend telling the contractor your expectation from him. I found that a lot of customers and contractors are not having the same expectation from each other.
Some other tips:
- Make sure you get a written detailed proposal. You should make sure all scope of work covered in the proposal. Please make sure you understand and have in the written proposal the inclusion and exclusion of the scope of work responsibilities.
- Ask the contractor for references. Ask if you can see any project they did in person.
- Ask detailed questions about your project. This way you can learn about the project and see which contractor gives you false information or just doesn't know the answer. With expertise comes knowledge.
- Don't share information you learned from one contractor with a different one. This way you will truly know which contractor knows what.
- Compare appels to appels. Try to ask for the same scope of work from all contractors.
