What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Simple! We are here to serve the customer. We want to find out how we can be of service and then offer a price upfront before we complete any work. We offer options and solutions and then let our customer decide which option is best for their home and budget. We also offer 100% financing OAC for major items such as water heater, tankless water heaters, air condition and heating systems, sewer line replacements and much more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians spend hours and hours each year receiving training not just on their trade, but also on customer service skills. Some of our technicians have been with us for 12 years or more. If you provide good employees the opportunity for personal growth as well as technical growth and pay them competitive wages they will stay with your company and offer quality workmanship.

We offer flat rate pricing so the customer always knows the cost of the repair before any work is performed. We always insist on seeing every job before we offer a flat rate price to ensure our customer gets a fair quote and we have the opportunity to offer a fair price that we can stand behind. offering a cheap price over the phone and then not honoring the price is dishonest! We offer senior discounts of 10% and maintenance agreements that cover seasonal tune ups on AC systems, Heating systems and plumbing systems as well as 15% discounts on all repairs. Memberships are only $249.00 a year.
How did you get started in this business?
After serving in the US Army in the Gulf War, my enlistment was up. When i returned home i was offered a job as a plumbing apprentice from a gentleman at the local church i attend. I worked hard and learned the plumbing trade and several years later i acquired my contractors license in the plumbing trade. Later i acquired my HVAC license, fire sprinkler license and general contractors license.

Kern County is full of all kinds of great folks! We have worked hand in hand with all off them! From doing the plumbing of a new customer home for NFL great Joey Porter to installing a simple washer in a bathroom faucet, On Time Home Services is a good choice!

With over 22 years in business we have done so many jobs that no single job stands out. We take pride in every job!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a company that has a brink and motor location with a staff in their office and plumbers that are dispatched 7 days a week and offer 24 hour emergency service. We might have to charge a little more than the one truck plumber who operates out of their home but when you have a problem you want a company that will respond to your needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is this company properly licensed and insured? What is their warranty? Are they dependable? Are their technicians background checked and drug tested? Are they available on nights and weekends should i have a problem with their work.
