I specialize in custom residential and commercial projects. My portfolio includes new construction, additions and adaptive reuse for existing structures. Select projects have been published in major magazines and newspapers including Architectural Digest, San Francisco Chronicle, California Homes and various book publications. Design work is influenced by various site conditions including, but not limited to, contextual compatibility and solar orientation, building system integration, construction materials and methods and specific project programs.

I enjoy working with my clients and leading them through the design process and construction. I approach each project without preconceptions and avoid a repetitive design expression. Beyond the elementary necessities of a structure, I believe that a successful building provides a framework for the client’s life and activities – a blank canvas ready to be painted.
