Our goal is to make every move as stress-free and smooth as possible. We stand by the belief that first and foremost, we are in the customer service industry and we demonstrate that ideal throughout every step in the moving process. We provide dedicated movers for every job, local or long distance. By dedicating movers to jobs we ensure accountability with every load as well as avoid potential accidents from occurring when potential miscommunication could occur between loader, driver, and unloader. At Sterling Interstate we value our customers and also our employees and believe that is exhibited in the quality of service provided by our experienced movers. We pioneer removing the stress of moving to a positive mindset that this is just a new beginning. We gently say goodbye to the past and hello to the future.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically when starting the moving process we like to gather information to discover what the customer's need may be so we can offer different solutions that will best fit their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The majority of our stafff has been moving for many years with the owner beginning his career in 2012. Working on trucks and working logistics for a publically traded company before opening the doors at Sterling Interstate.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For local moves we charge hourly but only in the prorated 15 minute sections after the minimum has been reached so the customer is not paying for longer than they need us for.
For interstate moves we provide flat rates after completing a free in person walk through so you never have to worry about the cost of your move going up.
How did you get started in this business?
I began moving in 2012 for another locally based moving company working their for almost 5 years before taking a logistics position working in positions at every stage of the moving process.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always check credentials, read reviews or get reviews from friends, and make sure pricing is what you expect. Different moving companies all have different methods for charging and similarly different cultures with the company. Make sure you're comfortable and confident in your mover.
