What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer will give us a call or request a quote on our website which means we will call them.
Then, we go over the details of their move. (Home/office size, how many boxes, if packing/unpacking is needed, and date)
Finally, we will give them a quote and they are able to book their move with a 50% deposit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our movers are trained professionally, receive background checks and drug testing to ensure our customer's satisfaction and safety.
How did you get started in this business?
About 15 years ago, I got laid off from my 9-6 job and decided that I was going to follow my passion of being a small business owner. I have very high standards when it comes to customer service and giving them the best experience possible. And moving a family or business to their new location is an event in their lives where they need the best service to make their transition stress-free. So I decided to start Cor Movers in order to do just that.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Cor Movers has worked with all types of customers. Since we offer residential and commercial movers, we work with families, couples, singles but also business owners, large corporate companies, and startups.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are hiring RELIABLE movers. There are many moving companies all over the country that try to scam their customers. They either steal some of the customer's belongings, try to make the job last longer for more pay, or even hold belongings ransom.
So make sure to find a company with great reviews, credibility, and a friendly attitude.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Questions that should be considered before a move:
1. When do I want to move?
2. What zip code am I moving from and to? Or state to state?
3. What is a close estimate of how many boxes I will have?
4. Do I need help with packing/unpacking those boxes?
5. Do I have large pieces of furniture? If so, how many?
