Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
NEW CLIENTS:
will have a meet & greet done before I will accept any bookings.
Please send me a message with your:
Dates
Dogs or cats (breeds, ages)
Location (city with cross streets, neighborhood)
A meet & greet will be done to meet new client and their pets. Here the client will tell me about their pets, what service they are looking for and how many visits they would like.
If after the visit and we all feel we are a good fit, client will fill out a pet profile & sign a contract paperwork and make a deposit to hold their dates on the calendar.
Some times another meet & greet will be done as most of my bookings are far in advance, and we go over feeding, where the food is, litter box, garbage, key pick up, etc.

How did you get started in this business?
I have been in the pet industry my whole life. From showing dogs, agility, working as a vet tech, animal shelters, dog training, cat sanctuary, fostering and rescuing, helping with lost and found pets. I am a full time professional pet sitter with 30+ years of pet experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My latest sit would be my fondest. I was hired to cat sit ( 5 cats), they were going to take the dogs (2 small ones) in to be boarded. Asked me for some boarding places I knew of, but had said their dogs weren't friendly to other pets, people, etc. I had let them know, I could watch the dogs, as that is what I do, no sense in taking the dogs elsewhere & still have a sitter come in. We arranged to do a few visits before they were getting ready to leave, so the dogs would be used to me. With some bribery on my part with lunch meat or cheese our visits went great. By the 2nd visit I was able to pet them and they recieved belly rubs. The visit went great and they were excited to see me each day. Also the many pictures & videos I sent to mom & dad won them over as well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Before hiring anyone check them out.
If they have a website, go look around & read everything. It should state how long that have been in busniess. Read their reviews. Most of all your questions should be answered on the website. Check their social media accounts, do they have a facebook page, Instagram.
If you don't find what you are looking for call them or send them a message and ask your questions. Most of the questions can also be answered in the meet & greet as each client is different on their needs.
